Adams Point is a short stroll from the 19th Street Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station, making it a great neighborhood for commuters. Residents from Adams Point can ride to Google Headquarters in less than 40 minutes, and to the Financial District in less than 30. Additionally, the neighborhood’s close proximity to Interstate 580 makes it easy to travel to the Oakland Zoo, or up to the Golden Gate Fields in Northwest Berkeley.
Living in Adams Point is great for people who love live entertainment, dinner & a movie, or a delicious meal. Paramount Theatre is less than one mile from Adams Point, and showcases a variety of live acts including stand-up comedy shows, concerts, and performing arts. About two blocks south, you will find the historic Fox Theater, which seats up to 2,800 people and features similar shows.
After a great show (or any time of day), Adams Point’s Grand Avenue offers a variety of dining options. Some of the local favorites include the New American sensation Sidebar, Coach Sushi, a popular Japanese restaurant known for its bottomless sake, and Grandeur, a Midtown Oakland Staple for delicious Vegan Cuisine.
